2021 — 2025 Year-over-Year Trends

213,641 total samples across 5 years of Massachusetts cannabis testing data

Data through: 11/30/2025

This site relies entirely on data published by the Cannabis Control Commission via their Open Data Catalog and is only current through the dates they make available.

Note: 2024 testing data was released by the CCC on 4/15/2026 and is now incorporated. All five years of trend data are real CCC values — no interpolation is used. Note that 2024 testing did not include pesticide screening (only metals, cannabinoids, and microbial), so failure-rate comparisons across years should be interpreted with that caveat.
Lab Name Caveat: There is no confirmation that the anonymized lab identifiers (LabA, LabB, etc.) in the 2021-2023 dataset correspond to the same labs (Lab_A, Lab_B, etc.) in the 2025 dataset. Year-over-year lab-level comparisons should not be assumed to track the same facilities.
